Just landed at Cape Town International (CPT)? Bloubergstrand is about 25 to 30 km away, and there are a few easy ways to get there. Here are your options for reaching Kite Beach and Khaya.
Uber or Bolt (the easiest option)
Both Uber and Bolt operate at Cape Town airport, and for most guests this is the simplest way to Blouberg. Follow the signs to the designated e-hailing pick-up zone, and expect roughly R200 to R350 and about 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. Download the app and set up payment before you land so you're ready to go the moment you collect your bags. Kite bags fit in most cars, but choose an XL if you're travelling with a full quiver.
Hiring a car
If you're staying a while or want to explore, a rental car is worth considering: it makes light-wind day trips to spots like Langebaan or the Cape Peninsula easy, and grocery runs simpler. All the major hire companies have desks at the airport. Remember that South Africans drive on the left, and keep a card handy for fuel and the occasional toll. Khaya has plenty of secure parking.

How long does it take?
Reckon on 30 to 40 minutes outside peak hours. Morning and late-afternoon traffic on the N1 and M5 can stretch that towards an hour, so allow extra time if you're arriving at rush hour.
Getting to Khaya
Khaya Kite & Yoga House is at 8 Crinum Road, Table View, an eight-minute walk from the beach. There's no fixed reception, so please message us your arrival time on WhatsApp (+27 72 377 0575) and we'll make sure someone is ready to welcome you in. Check-in is from midday.
